When you apply for the transcriptionist post you may need to wait for a period and they don’t encourage contacting their phone for job.
Though they have not disclosed the pay, many transcribers have been with us for more than a decade. The company’s website states that they are always looking for professional and novice transcribers, so it appears you may not need experience. However, the application does request that you attach your resume. You will be tested on your transcription skills prior to being accepted to work for the company. You are welcome to work as part-time contractor work on your own schedule. The starting pay is $0.75 -$0.85 per audio minute and the pay is sent out every two weeks via PayPal.
Rev
Rev offers work from home transcription job and you can enjoy the flexibility of working. To get started, you’ll need strong English skills, a computer, and a dependable Internet connection. To enrol as a transcriptionist you need to take a quiz and submit a transcript to demonstrate your mastery of the English language and Rev’s styling rules. If you’re approved, you can start working right away. Rev accepts Transcription and Caption applicants from the following countries: Australia, Canada, Ireland, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, South Africa, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, United States (excluding California).
Rev pay is decent and will be between $0.45 and $0.75 per recorded audio minute. As a transcriptionist, you’ll get paid every Monday for all audio files transcribed and completed the prior week. Receive weekly payouts via PayPal for all work completed. Rev is on-time and dependable.
AccuTran Global
AccuTran Global transcribing financial conference calls and interviews. The company has been in existence since 2002 and based in Vancouver, Canada. They are always interested in engaging with new contract transcribers, real-time stenographers and voice writers. They hire experienced transcribers immediately and newbie will require completing a transcription test. AccuTran Global will hire you as an independent contractor, not an employee.

Quicktate
Quicktate offers work from home transcription job to transcribe recordings of different things. Quicktate transcribes voicemail messages, memos, letters, legal files, medical files, recordings of phone calls, conference calls and other audio files. Quicktate requires work from home transcriptionist to have accurate spelling and punctuation and follow their instructions strictly. You will also need to take a test to ensure you understand Quicktate’s requirements. After the test they will run a background check on you and you have to make a payment of $20 for the same.
Quicktate pays 1/4 cent per word for general and legal transcription and 1/2 cent per word for medical transcription.

You don’t need to have experience to join the TranscribeMe professional crowd. All you do is fill out a short form with some minimal information (name, email, country, etc.) Then, you watch a short video. There’s lots of important info in this video, so watch it all the way to the end. After you watch the video, you can go to the next screen where you take a short exam. Note that if you list years of experience while registering, someone in recruiting may (depending on experience listed and their needs) reach out to you for a different test track. If your accuracy is good enough, you are then in the system and may start working if there is any work to do.
TranscribeMe pay starting at $15 and goes up to $22 per audio hour. To complete an hour of audio, you may require spending about 4 to 5 hours. The company states that the top monthly earnings is $2,200.

3Play Media is basically AI software to produce video captioning and transcription. However, they also offer manual transcription for those who need accurate transcription. They offer work from home transcription job for U.S. residents.
The job listing quotes a rate of $10 to $30 per hour. The audio you receive has already been transcribed through 3Play Media’s voice-recognition software and that the transcript editors just go through and correct the imperfections. You do not necessarily have to have transcription experience to get in here. However, you need to have excellent written communication skills, excellent command of English grammar and punctuation, proficiency with internet research and reference resources and ability to manage projects and work independently.
